Mr. Moe & BCF

Mr. Moe

Our beautiful facility, as well as this website, would not have been possible without the hard work, passion, and dedication of Moe Rafiy. After receiving his MBA from American University, Mr. Moe completed course work in Early Childhood Education at Boston College and demonstrated his love for children while working in our Pre-K classroom. He acted as the project manager during the building of Children’s Happy Day School and spent countless hours working to make sure the school’s mission was met. In creating this one-of-a-kind school, Mr. Moe’s ultimate goal, to create an environment where all children could benefit from a quality early childhood education, was accomplished.

Mr. Moe passed away in May 2007 at the age of 31 after a brief illness. We continue to work towards accomplishing the goals he set in place and strive to instill the same values in our students that Mr. Moe himself possessed.

Boston Childrens Fund (BCF)

In addition to building the school, Mr. Moe established The Boston Children's Fund in 2005. The BCF was created to supplement state vouchers and provide grants and scholarships to enable children in West Roxbury and the surrounding communities to participate in and benefit from a quality, educational early childhood education.

To make a donation to the Boston Children's Fund, please download a donation form and mail it to the provided address. We greatly appreciate your support as it is through contributions to the BCF that Mr. Moe's spirit remains with us and the vision he established for the Fund will be fulfilled.
