What to expect
The transition from home or a daycare setting to preschool is a big step for children and caregivers! Our experienced staff and teachers are here to guide you through this transition in a caring, child-centered manner that builds resilience alongside a sense of comfort. Throughout our admissions process, you’ll have various touchpoints to see our classrooms, meet our team and watch your child interact with the Happy Day environment.
Our admissions policy prioritizes siblings of current students and children of alumni. As a diverse school community, we also participate in the Massachusetts State voucher program on a limited basis.
Our admissions process
Below are key milestones in the Happy Day admissions process. If you have specific questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
"“Happy Day has given my daughter a wonderful foundation for her education. She’s excited about school everyday, and at 5 years old, is already learning study and social skills. CHDS offers a curriculum that opens young minds, with a staff that is warm and caring. Teachers work with each child as an individual to support their emotional development and encourage their enthusiasm. It truly is a happy place!"
